From Home Cook to Culinarian

It’s been quite some time since my last post! Praise God, I was able to survive a once in a lifetime pandemic and I’m committed to coming out better. Back in April, I decided to pursue my passion in the kitchen and enrolled in a Culinary Arts program. Stay tuned to watch my journey unfold. This is only the beginning. There’s a difference between a home cook and a Chef. I’m learning so many tips, tricks and techniques. My investment in myself is already paying off. Here’s a picture of my most recent work… It’s a grilled filet, yellow & zucchini squash and my first EVER attempt at Hollandaise.  Let’s use this as a baseline. My skills in food prep, plating and presentation will be 1000 times better in 12 months. I’m claiming it! 🙌🏽🙏🏽
